i have most of aspen's photos on a disc (except a bit from 2007 & then some from 2008- misty should be working on getting those to me) and i have them listed on a sheet of paper in the date/order they go so i don't miss any & i can check the pictures/pages off as i go. well i had 2006 listed, the year she was born...i for some stupid brain fart of a reason thought i was through her first year. while technically i am done w/ her first year in the world i'm NOT done w/ her entire first year of photos...you see it's only 5 months of it! ack! i could shoot myself in the foot! i am having a blast creating pages for her...someone new to look at & i must say she's one adorable little girl that has her aunt nell wrapped securly around her finger! i love that little girl dearly! i have one growing quickly stack of pages for her...she's going to love looking through them i just know it!
i was going through my childhood album yesterday (and no, they are not done, uh!) & found this photo of misty & i. i was 4 and she almost 2. i've always said how much i think aspen looks like her & well, here is my proof! aren't we so cute!
so what is up with jordan & brinley's teachers piling project after project on them this month on top of all their other work? i hate projects...simply for the fact that i want them to get a really good grade & i end up helping more than i think i should. oh well i guess. jordan & i had fun constructing her sulfur atom last night. now my oven smells like cooked clay! yuck! that's one thing that doesn't smell good in the kitchen baking!!!! took photos w/ her & the atom so i can do a page about it...i don't take enough photos of the two older girls because they are always gone during the day & so chloe is 85% of the time my subject. feeling a bit of mom guilt.
on the chloe front...she was going through a NON-NAPPING stage...where i was damned if i made her take one & i was if it didn't. she would either take one & then go to bed when buck & i did, which is 10-10:30. and if she didn't we would all know it by the end of the evening. over a few days of non-napping she would just get so tired & grouchy. so i decided today to try & get her up early. early nap & story. and then in bed by 9. we'll see how it works....so far so good. her nap was only 1 hr & 15 minutes. i so hope this works. poor girl was getting so ran down. another accomplishment she's reached is that she's not afraid to go down stairs by herself. this week she's ventured down there numerous times to find toys all on her own...w/ no crying that there are monsters or whatever jordan & brinley believe is down there (they won't go down there by themselves EVER). weird! so this is my photo for today...

The layouts are awesome and I'm loving the atom model. Elise had to do this earlier in the year.
