christmas eve...we played games with our neighbors/friends- Susan, Darrell, Jamie & Cody. we prepared some snacky foods & played the farming game...what a blast! i must admit...this go around of gaming (during the christmas break)i couldn't win for nothing! pitiful! then after an evening of fun the girls opened their first gift of christmas...their christmas jammies...
Christmas morning was awesome...the girls slept until 8am! what a bonus! they had very strict orders to not go into the living room until chloe was up...they came & got us...i went into the living room & set the video recorder on (set it up on a tripod to overlook the entire living room the night before) & got my camera around my neck waiting for them to come through. they all were so excited...santa brought chloe a dora bike & brinley/jordan an air hockey table!
christmas day was super relaxing around here...one of our friends, gary, came over & joined us for dinner & the girls played with their new toys & we watched pirates of the carribean 3.
the day after christmas my parents came...SO EXCITED for this! a wonderful visit with them. the first night we went to bennigans to eat...i discovered that they no longer carry the grilled meatloaf! SO BUMMED! so scrumptious! after dinner we came home to do "christmas" with them...
chloe got the little mommy doll from my parents...she's still not too sure about her...we named her lucy.
she was more interested in a dora sparkling magic fairy thing & this....
...maybe once things settle down here we can sit down with her & play...show her how to use her gently...she talks back & tells you what she wants...so cute! buck, jordan, brinley & my dad...spent tons of time- & i mean TONS-LOADS-HOURS playing this playstation game...gran tourismo...brinley was so funny- watching her play we were all laughing...she steers the controller in the air with the direction she wants the car to go- she's very brilliant at this game...jordan is the reason everyone is hooked...she found it in the video cabinet christmas eve & was playing with jamie! now...that's all that's been on the TV...buck's hooked again!
chloe has immediately staked grounds on grandma linda...she's hers...when she's around...i don't matter & am invisible! she even gave up her bed, on her own will, to her...she didn't sleep good but she sure did love her grandma sleeping in her big girl bed & her at her side on the floor. grandma even baked cookies with her...and anyone who knows chloe- knows she loves the kitchen! we had a blast making sugar cookies & decorating them so pretty with sprinkles!
she also had grandma put her to bed & read her stories at night...sat on her lap constantly & was always in her shadow.
i bet if we asked her...she would go home with them willingly!!!! chloe is going to be unbelievably happy when her grandma & papa move here! & this is the year they promised...that dad has given his notice...that i've been waiting for since the day we moved away! a dream coming to and end in 8 months! :)
